Slugs

Grrrr!
The bane of my life, along with their buddies the snails

We set up barriers using Copper wire, which is mostly effective, but sometimes you have just got to use pellets.
We have even tried beer traps ( a waste of good homemade cider that was!)

The snails are easy enough to "relocate" by hand, the slugs though are a bit less pleasant to handle.
The fact is though, unless you physically remove them, they are going to be around.

One possible solution to them detroying your crops is to plant some radish around as sacrificial plants. The slugs will come across these first, and they will be destroyed, hopefully saving the good stuff.
